Call 211 to Join the Disaster Case Management Program

Aloha United Way's 211 helpline is Hawai‘i’s only comprehensive, community information and referral helpline. Powered by caring, local experts, trained to understand complex problems and connect people to community resources including:

  • Food, shelter, clothing
  • Support and care programs for Keiki, Kupuna and disability services
  • Crisis intervention and disaster relief
  • Domestic violence programs
  • Rental and utility assistance
  • Legal and financial assistance
  • Substance abuse treatment
  • SNAP prescreening
  • And much more

NEW Disaster Recovery Center at the Hyatt

Survivors can meet with federal support staff, including language interpreters, and community organizations.

  • Focused on processing federal assistance and loan applications for affected survivors.
  • Further, assistance in providing housing options to eligible FEMA applicants through FEMA housing programs.
  • Provide mitigation advice and recommendations to the survivors by FEMA mitigation staff.
  • Occasionally, a community service agency may visit to provide outreach to the Hyatt Regency survivors.

NEW State of Hawaiʻi Community Resources Center

Get access to State, County and community service agencies

  • Re-Entry passes; Residents may pick up and PPE at the Community Resource Center.
  • Right of Entry processing;
  • PPE issuance
  • Housing options to non-eligible FEMA applicants through State Rental Assistance Program (State, GEM, CNHA)
  • SNAP (Maui Aids Foundation), Quest (IMUA Family Services), medical and dental programs (Kaiser Permanente).
  • Other agencies will be providing services as needed, i.e. Legal Aid Society of Maui County, United Policyholders, etc.
