  • Offering free counseling services 24/7 for those experiencing mental distress or in need of assistance with food, housing, and other essential needs.  To receive services, call (800) 580-6934. You do not need to be an HMSA member to participate.

Mental Health America: Disaster Distress Helpline (DDH)

  • Toll-free, multilingual, crisis support service available 24/7 to all residents in the U.S. and its territories who are experiencing emotional distress related to natural or human-caused disasters. The Disaster Distress Helpline (DDH) is a national hotline dedicated to providing year-round disaster crisis counseling. This toll-free, multilingual, crisis support service is available 24/7 to all U.S. residents who are experiencing emotional distress related to natural or human-caused disasters.
