The Maui County Fair and the County Department of Transportation are offering free parking and shuttle service to the 99th Maui County Fair during the weekend of October 3–4, 2026, at the Wailuku Garage, located at 30 N. Church St. The free parking and shuttle service are designed to support volunteers, workers and all fairgoers.

Free parking and shuttle service will also be available from Queen Kaʻahumanu Center Oct. 1-4.

Fairgoers are encouraged to take advantage of the shuttle service, especially during peak evening and weekend hours, to help reduce traffic congestion and parking demand around the fairgrounds.

Free Wailuku Garage Shuttle — Saturday & Sunday

Weekend shuttle service will be available from the Wailuku Municipal Parking Garage, with the pickup area located near the ʻĪao Theater foyer.

The first shuttle will depart Wailuku at 10 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, with service running approximately every 20–30 minutes throughout the day.

Return service from the Maui County Fairgrounds will continue until:

•     Saturday, Oct. 3: Last shuttle departs the Fairgrounds at 12:40 a.m.

•     Sunday, Oct. 4: Last shuttle departs the Fairgrounds at 11:40 p.m.

Queen Kaʻahumanu Center Shuttle — Thursday through Sunday

Shuttle service will be available from Queen Kaʻahumanu Center, with pickup and drop-off at the bus depot in the rear parking structure near Macy’s Men’s & Home.

Service hours are:

•     Thursday, Oct. 1: 6 p.m. – 11:40 p.m.

•     Friday, Oct. 2: 6 p.m. – 12:40 a.m.

•     Saturday, Oct. 3: 10 a.m. – 12:40 a.m.

•     Sunday, Oct. 4: 10 a.m. – 11:40 p.m.

Neighbor Island Ferry Transportation

“We want the Maui County Fair to truly be a celebration for all of Maui County,” said Daryl Fujiwara, Maui County Fair director. “We want to help make it a little easier for them to come over, spend the day with us and enjoy the fair.”

LĀNAʻI TO THE FAIR — SATURDAY ONLY

Lānaʻi residents traveling to Maui on Saturday can bring their Expeditions Ferry ticket stub to the Queen Kaʻahumanu Center fair exhibition hall (the old Forever 21) to receive free admission to the Maui County Fair.

From Queen Kaʻahumanu Center, guests can ride the free Maui County Fair shuttle directly to the fairgrounds.

To make it easier to enjoy a full day at the Fair, a special $20 late-night return ferry to Lānaʻi will be offered Saturday evening. Boarding begins at 7:30 p.m., with departure from Māʻalaea Harbor at 8 p.m.

MOLOKAʻI TO THE FAIR — SATURDAY ONLY

Molokaʻi residents are also invited to make the trip to the Maui County Fair with a special $25 boat and bus shuttle package.

The service includes boat transportation and bus shuttle service to the Fairgrounds, making it easy to arrive and enjoy the festivities. Participants will also receive a Maui County Fair admission ticket upon arrival.

Important Notice: Space is extremely limited and is filled on a first-come, first-served basis. A confirmation email will be sent on Tuesday, Sept. 30, notifying applicants whether they have been selected for transportation.

The Maui County Fair brings residents and visitors together for four days of food, entertainment, culture and family fun. Mayor Richard Bissen spearheaded the fair’s return after a six-year hiatus, and earlier this year proposed—and the Maui County Council approved—a $1.5 million General Fund appropriation to support this year’s fair through nonprofit Festivals of Aloha.
