County of Maui to hold in-person hiring event May 15 at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center

The County of Maui invites job seekers to an in-person hiring event on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants will have a chance to win prize giveaways throughout the day.

More than 20 County departments will be onsite to share information about current job opportunities, give insight into a day in the life of County employees, provide live interviews and hand out department swag.

Interview panels will be on location, ready to meet qualified candidates and potentially make on-the-spot job offers.

The event features live radio broadcasts from local favorites:

  • Ed & Brandi of 99.9 KISS FM (10 a.m. to noon)
  • Mackie from 98.3 DaJam (noon to 2 p.m.)

Job seekers are strongly encouraged to apply online now for positions of interest. While application assistance will be available onsite, applicants who are already in the County system will have the best chance to take full advantage of direct interactions with department representatives and interview panels.

“This is a great opportunity to connect directly with County departments and jumpstart your career with the County of Maui,” County Department of Personnel Services Director Cynthia Razo-Porter said.
